IT Project Manager
We are hiring an IT Project Manager to plan, coordinate and technically supervise the delivery of our client software projects — from an agreed scope and plan, through a coordinated build, to release into live operation. You own the delivery: the plan, the team's coordination, the budget and timeline, the quality bar, and the reporting to clients and leadership.
What you will do
- Work with clients and company leadership to establish and clarify each project's aims, scope and requirements.
- Plan the delivery stages, track progress against milestones, and re-plan as things change.
- Coordinate and supervise the project team — often a mixed team of the client's own engineers and domain experts alongside our engineers — running Agile delivery (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
- Manage third-party and vendor contributions.
- Monitor budget, timescale and quality against the agreed statement of work and acceptance criteria.
- Oversee implementation and release into live operation, and report progress, risk and change.
- Arrange and lead client meetings — at our office, on site, or at the client's office when needed.
- Between client projects, coordinate the building of reusable internal components and the growing use of AI in our delivery, to make future projects faster.
What we're looking for
- An expert in managing software projects end to end — scope, plan, team, budget, timeline, quality and release.
- Experience planning and running Agile delivery.
- Experience coordinating mixed teams, including the client's own engineers and domain experts.
- Experience with digital transformation, migration and architectural-change projects.
- A working understanding of API platforms, MCP servers and other integration technologies — enough to manage the project, its risks and dependencies.
- Knowledge of software delivery pipelines (CI/CD), RESTful APIs and cloud-based architectures.
- Client-facing confidence and clear written English.
We welcome candidates from either a project management or a product management background. Strong project management skills are essential; product management experience is a plus.

Compensation
A fixed base salary from £60,000, plus a project delivery bonus paid on top — awarded against projects delivered and delivery milestones met, not against a company target you cannot influence. The base is the salary; the bonus is additional. Exact figures are confirmed at offer, and how the bonus is calculated is explained at first interview.
